Half of the motel is recently renovated, the half that is closest to 447, and is a good value for the price. Only option for staying in Gerlach unless you rent a home.
Close to the Black Rock Desert where many interesting events take place throughout the year.

Had Bruno ever seen a country club when he named his place Bruno's County Club? I seriously doubt it. But the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the staff was super nice and helpful, and the food at the bar was good. It definitely beats sleeping on the playa, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Most notably, Burning Man. Several international high power rocket launches take place there, as well.
